RBR Maintenance Welcomes New Sheet Metal Lead

RBR Maintenance, Inc. recently announced they have hired Gary Welch as Sheet Metal Lead. Gary joined the RBR team on May 13, 2014.

With over 50 years in aviation, Gary has extensive experience in heavy structural repairs, interior installation/modifications, inspection, quality control and aircraft maintenance. Gary first began his career in aviation in the United States Airforce from 1963 to 1967, where he specialized in F105 aircraft airframe repair. Following his time in the military, Gary has worked with a variety of well-known aviation companies where he spent time as a sheet metal mechanic, assembler/installer, production manager, and shop supervisor. Most recently, Gary was a service center supervisor for Gulfstream.

“Gary’s extensive structural repair and modification background make him a great addition to our repair capabilities,” says James Noe, Vice President of Operations, RBR Maintenance. “I have worked with Gary for 20 years and I am confident he will be a very valuable asset and addition to our team.”

In his new position, Gary will be responsible for overseeing all structural repair projects, while also providing technical support to RBR customers.

RBR Maintenance Welcomes New Hawker Crew Chief

Maintenance, Inc. recently announced they have hired Kenneth “Bo” Slajar as a Hawker Crew Chief. Bo joined the RBR team on March 24, 2014.

Bo’s aviation career started in 1985 when he joined the U.S. Navy, where he worked on FA-18 fighter jet airframes. While in the Navy, Bo attended Navy Leadership School, General Air Frames and Corrosion Control School, and Aircraft Firefighting School.

During his 20 years of service, Bo served in Desert Storm and Desert Shield, and served on multiple United States Ships, including U.S.S. Constellation, U.S.S. Independence, and U.S.S. Midway, among others. By the time Bo retired from the Navy in 2005, he had earned the title of Aviation Mechanic First Class – E6.

After retirement, Bo moved into the corporate aviation industry and has spent the last several years working with various Dallas-based aviation companies. Bo has the knowledge and experience to work on Citation, Gulfstream, Learjet, Challenger, King Air, and Beech Jet aircraft, but he specializes specifically in Hawker aircraft.

RBR Maintenance Welcomes New Technician to Mobile Maintenance Service Team

RBR Maintenance, Inc. recently announced they have hired Travis Roberson as A&P Technician. Travis joined the RBR team on January 2, 2014.

Travis will also join RBR’s Mobile Maintenance Service Team, which can respond to aircraft operators throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and New Mexico. The Mobile Maintenance Service Team offers technical support on-site and can be dispatched 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Travis received his A&P License from Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology and has a Pilots License from American Flyers – Addison. With FAR Part 135 Management experience, Travis will focus on Cessna Citations, Hawkers, and Westwinds at RBR.

“We are excited to have Travis join our team,” says James Noe, Vice President of Operations, RBR Maintenance. “His experience will be very beneficial to our current and potential clients and he is a great fit for our Mobile Maintenance Service Team.”

RBR Maintenance Welcomes New Lead Technician

RBR Maintenance, Inc. recently announced they have hired Chris Grinnell as Lead Technician. Chris joined the RBR team October 28, 2013.

With nearly 10 years of experience in the aviation industry, Chris has developed an extensive technical knowledge through his previous positions as maintenance/ lead mechanic and AOG technician. Specializing in Cessna and Embraer aircraft, Chris has also been working on Phenom 100 aircraft since their first delivery. In addition, Chris has successfully completed FJ44 schooling.

“Chris is a great addition to RBR,” says James Noe, Vice President of Operations, RBR Maintenance. “His experience with specific aircraft will be very beneficial to our current and potential clients and we are excited to have him join our team.”

RBR Maintenance Now Offering Mobile Maintenance Service Team

Ready for dispatch throughout Texas and surrounding states 

RBR Maintenance, Inc. recently announced they now have a Mobile Maintenance Service Team which can respond to aircraft operators throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and New Mexico. The Mobile Maintenance Service Team offers technical support on-site and can be dispatched 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

RBR’s Mobile Maintenance Service Team can provide minor inspection, AOG services, and light repairs all on-site without relocating the aircraft. If the aircraft must be moved for repair, RBR can prepare the aircraft for a ferry flight back to their facility at Dallas Love Field.

“We strive to provide the highest level of aircraft and customer service no matter the location,” says Joe Burch, President, RBR Maintenance, Inc. “Our Mobile Maintenance Service Team provides an even higher level of service by offering technical support on the road exactly where the customer needs them.”

The Mobile Maintenance Service Team consists of four fully-trained technicians who have extensive backgrounds with Hawker 125, Beechcraft King Air, and the Cessna Citation product line. The team of technicians can be dispatched all together or in a group of two, allowing for two teams to respond to customer requests at the same time.  The teams travel with fully-equipped trailers, ensuring they have all the tools and resources needed to provide a full range of services. RBR Maintenance, Inc. Names Chris Lesniak As New Manager Of Outside Part Sales

RBR Maintenance, Inc. recently announced they have hired Chris Lesniak as Manager of Outside Parts Sales. Chris officially joined RBR on July 8, 2013.

With over 30 years of experience, Chris has held positions as Director of Sales and Marketing, Account Manager, and Parts Manager for various companies within the aviation industry, including Arnoni Aviation and Avant Aerospace.

“Chris’ diverse background makes him a valuable asset to our current and potential customers,” said Joe Burch, President, RBR Maintenance, Inc. “During his many years in the industry, Chris has cultivated an extensive network of professional relationships, meaning he knows where to go for even the most hard to find parts.”

In his new position at RBR, Chris will be involved in all aspects of the parts department, including overseeing inventory levels, working one-on-one with clients, providing value-added parts support, as well as taking an active role in aiding the logistics team in procuring parts and services for the in-house maintenance customers.

“We have a very dynamic parts operation with an ever expanding inventory,” said James Noe, Director of Maintenance/Co-Owner, RBR Maintenance, Inc. “In addition, we will soon offer our customers the ability to dispose of their surplus inventories. Chris will be instrumental in developing this aspect of our parts program and we are excited for to him join our team.”

In addition to his responsibilities as Manager of Outside Parts Sales, Chris will also play a large role in the continuous development of the Sales and Marketing programs at RBR.
