RBR Maintenance, Inc. recently announced they have acquired a specialized “Stall Barrier Test Box #GSE2720744,” which is the required test equipment used to complete the “Stall Barrier Dump Valve Operational Test” on GIV aircraft. To date, RBR Maintenance and Gulfstream are the only maintenance facilities that have this required test equipment.
The “Stall Barrier Dump Valve Operational Test” was designed to detect latent failures of the stall barrier dump valve. The Gulfstream Computerized Maintenance Program requires the test be performed on certain GIV aircraft during the next “Stall Barrier/Angle of Attack System Operational Test” and again every 36 months thereafter.
“We are excited to be able to offer this specialized tooling to our customers in-house or as a rental option,” said James Noe, Vice President of Operations, RBR Maintenance. “With limited service options for owners and operators who need the test completed, we recommend customers schedule service now.”
The “Stall Barrier Dump Valve Operational Test” can be completed as a standalone service or during other maintenance, avionics, or interiors projects in order to further optimize downtime. To learn more or to schedule service contact James Noe at 214-351-6604 or j.noe@rbrmx.net.
