RBR Maintenance Welcomes Mark Leavitt As Aircraft Maintenance Sales

RBR Maintenance, Inc. recently announced they have hired Mark Leavitt as Aircraft Maintenance Sales. Mark joined the RBR team in December 2014 and will be conveniently located in Little Rock, Arkansas, in order to serve current and potential customers in the Mid-South region of the U.S. and beyond.

With nearly 40 years in aviation, Mark has extensive knowledge on all aspects of aircraft completions, maintenance, avionics, and paint and interior projects, especially on the Hawker line of aircraft. Throughout his career, Mark has held senior level positions in which he oversaw complete maintenance operations and worked one-on-one with customers. Mark’s previous titles include General Manager, Operations Manager, and Senior Completions Manager.

“We have been making some positive changes during the last couple of months in order to offer additional services and better serve our customers in 2015. RBR Maintenance Acquires Specialized “Stall Barrier Test Box” Required For Gulfstream IV “Stall Barrier Dump Valve Operational Test”

RBR Maintenance, Inc. recently announced they have acquired a specialized “Stall Barrier Test Box #GSE2720744,” which is the required test equipment used to complete the “Stall Barrier Dump Valve Operational Test” on GIV aircraft. To date, RBR Maintenance and Gulfstream are the only maintenance facilities that have this required test equipment.

The “Stall Barrier Dump Valve Operational Test” was designed to detect latent failures of the stall barrier dump valve. The Gulfstream Computerized Maintenance Program requires the test be performed on certain GIV aircraft during the next “Stall Barrier/Angle of Attack System Operational Test” and again every 36 months thereafter.

“We are excited to be able to offer this specialized tooling to our customers in-house or as a rental option,” said James Noe, Vice President of Operations, RBR Maintenance. “With limited service options for owners and operators who need the test completed, we recommend customers schedule service now.”

Texas chapter of “North American Hunters for Heroes” assists in rehabilitation and reintegration of           wounded veterans.   

RBR Maintenance, Inc. recently made a donation to “Texas Hunters for Heroes,” (THH) the Texas chapter of “North American Hunters For Heroes,” a non-profit organization focused on assisting wounded veterans by introducing them to the joys of hunting in order to assist in their rehabilitation and reintegration into civilian life.

RBR Maintenance Welcomes New Hawker Crew Chief

Maintenance, Inc. recently announced they have hired Kenneth “Bo” Slajar as a Hawker Crew Chief. Bo joined the RBR team on March 24, 2014.

Bo’s aviation career started in 1985 when he joined the U.S. Navy, where he worked on FA-18 fighter jet airframes. While in the Navy, Bo attended Navy Leadership School, General Air Frames and Corrosion Control School, and Aircraft Firefighting School.

During his 20 years of service, Bo served in Desert Storm and Desert Shield, and served on multiple United States Ships, including U.S.S. Constellation, U.S.S. Independence, and U.S.S. Midway, among others. By the time Bo retired from the Navy in 2005, he had earned the title of Aviation Mechanic First Class – E6.

After retirement, Bo moved into the corporate aviation industry and has spent the last several years working with various Dallas-based aviation companies. Bo has the knowledge and experience to work on Citation, Gulfstream, Learjet, Challenger, King Air, and Beech Jet aircraft, but he specializes specifically in Hawker aircraft.
