Maintenance, Inc. recently announced they have hired Kenneth “Bo” Slajar as a Hawker Crew Chief. Bo joined the RBR team on March 24, 2014.
Bo’s aviation career started in 1985 when he joined the U.S. Navy, where he worked on FA-18 fighter jet airframes. While in the Navy, Bo attended Navy Leadership School, General Air Frames and Corrosion Control School, and Aircraft Firefighting School.
During his 20 years of service, Bo served in Desert Storm and Desert Shield, and served on multiple United States Ships, including U.S.S. Constellation, U.S.S. Independence, and U.S.S. Midway, among others. By the time Bo retired from the Navy in 2005, he had earned the title of Aviation Mechanic First Class – E6.
After retirement, Bo moved into the corporate aviation industry and has spent the last several years working with various Dallas-based aviation companies. Bo has the knowledge and experience to work on Citation, Gulfstream, Learjet, Challenger, King Air, and Beech Jet aircraft, but he specializes specifically in Hawker aircraft.
